2020-21 REGISTRATION BEGINS APRIL 20, 2020
Space Coast Christian Co-op provides high quality academic tutoring to home schooled students, who must be registered as homeschoolers with the Brevard County Education Department, or through an umbrella school.
Space Coast Christian Co-op, Inc. is non-profit corporation. We are a tutoring service, not a school. Each tutor is an independent contractor. The tutors may assign grades, but these are for the parent’s use only. The parents, ultimately, are responsible for their own child’s education.
Students must be no older than 18 years of age, and no younger than 10 years of age as of August 1st of the school year. A parent or legal guardian is required to stay at Co-op with any student under the age of 12. We ask that students have age appropriate reading skills and be able to comfortably sit in a traditional classroom setting.
Thank you for considering Space Coast Christian Co-op as an academic supplement to your home education journey! Our classes are filled on a first come, first served basis. Once a class is filled, a waiting list is begun.
We have been enjoying a wonderful 2019-20 school year! Classes began Thursday, August 8th and will conclude on May 14th. At this point, no more students will be admitted for the 2019-20 school year.
Because of the Covid 19 Health Crisis, we have cancelled our Open House, originally scheduled for April 20th. Instead we will have “Spotlight On” posts about our tutors on our Facebook Page. The Classes page of this website has Class Descriptions of each of our classes, along with the curriculum used, and the tutor’s email addresses. You can utilize that to ask specific questions about classes.
Follow the steps listed below, print out the registration paperwork, include the $25 Administrative Fee, and sign up for volunteer shifts. Registration can be mailed in and we will begin processing our new families beginning April 20th. Registration paperwork mailed in must be complete before students will be placed on rosters.
Watch our Facebook Page for updates.
For any questions regarding 2020-21 Registration, please contact us. Stay safe, healthy, and may God bless our homeschooling community.
